• Car manufacturers Ford and Toyota were impacted by parts shortages due to the blockade. Ford closed their plant for the day, for the next day to operate at reduced capacity, and Toyota idled three of their factories.[11]

• Non-convoy event: A truck carrying 2,000 firearms stolen in Peterborough. [16] Although the firearms were later recovered, it lead to conspiracy theories that the stolen weapons would be planted on convoyists in Ottawa. [17][18]

2022 February 14

• After review, Tamara Lich is granted bail on a $25,000 bond, with the risk of release being addressed by a new surety proposed by the defense.[43]

• Canadian National Security Advisor says the Emergencies act was justified to regain control of Ottawa and the convoy organizers "no doubt – came to overthrow the government.” [44]

• The ‘Freedom Convoy’ Bitcoin Donations Have Been Frozen and Seized. [45] The class action lawsuit wants to give all donated bitcoins to Ottawa citizens who were in the vicinity of the protests.
