The United People of Canada is an organization claiming to be a unifying organization. Despite the claims, there were concerns about them taking hold in Ottawa.[1] Around the time of them opening their "embassy" at the St Brigid's Center for the Arts, they adorned the building with red banners.

One of their first major discussions is about the Freedom Convoy[2], despite their claim that they are not affiliated with said convoy. The description of the event claims the great divide within Canada and the world, but the cause is conspicuously not described - nor is there an explanation about how the convoyists were unifying society while they were harassing journalists.

Concerning their connection to the convoy, they claimed there would be legal consequences for spreading defamatory libel online. [3]

Despite claims that they're not going to leave[4], they were packing their materials after their eviction on September 23[5].

Events

The organization scheduled various events, in a guise of trying to setup community support. These events included discussions for a reconciliation for healing[6], a trucker convoy meetup[7], a meetup concerning biases in the justice system[8], and cyberbullying[9]. There was also a weekly BBQ scheduled.

Most of these events are superficial, as it could be claimed that the organization supports the justice system bias and cyberbullying when it is in their favor (as indicated by their willingness to harass others.)
