  • Non-convoy event: A truck carrying 2,000 firearms stolen in Peterborough. [15] Although the firearms were later recovered, it lead to conspiracy theories that the stolen weapons would be planted on convoyists in Ottawa. [16][17]

  • Canadian National Security Advisor says the Emergencies act was justified to regain control of Ottawa and the convoy organizers "no doubt – came to overthrow the government.” [40]

  • The ‘Freedom Convoy’ Bitcoin Donations Have Been Frozen and Seized. [41] The class action lawsuit wants to give all donated bitcoins to Ottawa citizens who were in the vicinity of the protests.
